Featured in Martha Stewarts' Weddings - Spring 2008 issue, these stencils are cut from food grade materials. All stencils can be used individually to provide complimentary mini cakes or cupcakes. These stencils measure approx.:

Top: H: 4.1" x W: 5.5" (10.4cm x 14cm)
Tier 2: H: 3.1" x W: 7.5" (7.9cm x 19cm)
Tier 3 (Full middle Damask Medallion): H: 3.7" x W: 3.5" (9.4cm x 8.9cm)
Tier 4: H: 2.6" x W: 10" (6.6cm x 25.4cm)
Tier 5: H: 6.1" x W: 13.5" (15.5cm x 34.3cm)


Covering The Sides Of Your Cakes

 Create a unique and elegant look using Royal Icing. There are two key points to remember to achieve a brilliant finish with Royal Icing:

1. Hold the stencil flush to the fondant (Sugar Paste) the cake wrap kit is ideal for this.

2. Consistency of your Royal Icing.

 

This is recommended for use with hot fondant, royal icing or melted chocolate. (A square spatula is handy when applying. Airbrushing can obtain excellent professional results with our stencils. You can also use a stencil with cocoa powder or good quality icing snow.

Royal icing
Place the Stencil directly on the cake or onto rolled out modelling paste. Place dollops of royal icing to help hold the stencil in place, and then spread the royal icing, using a scraper or pallet knife, evenly over the stencil. Gently pull off the stencil and admire!

Lustre dusts
Place on a cake that has been freshly covered with sugarpaste, roll over the stencil with a rolling pin, smear white vegetable fat over the exposed pattern, then using a soft brush, dust with lustre dust.

Chocolate
Spread melted chocolate over the stencil onto a hard chocolate surface , but make sure the chocolate you are spreading is NOT TOO hot , otherwise it will melt your chocolate base

Icing (powered) sugar / Cocoa
Gently sprinkle through the stencil onto a cake top - but easy does it! The effect is awesome just with a light dusting if you dust too much it will spread when someone as much as passes by!

Airbrushing
Secure stencil in and spray - experiment using different colours on different sections of the stencil.
