Confetti Cake Balloon Kits

A massive trend this year, these brand new confetti balloons are blowing up all over the cake decorating universe – and it’s easy to see why!

These striking confetti balloons make a super stylish finishing touch to any celebration cake, making them a bold and eye-catching centrepiece on all dessert tables and party buffets!

What makes them so unique is the confetti stored within the balloon – it adds a shimmering and vibrant splash of colour to your finished cakes – perfect for birthdays, baby showers, christenings, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, anniversaries, engagements, hen/stag do parties and so much more.

The balloons come in packs of 5, allowing for the ultimate inflatable masterpiece, or for some to be saved for future projects. They’re also available in a range of six different colours: Black/Gold, Silver, Gold, Blue, Pink and Multicoloured. In each pack you will receive: 5 x Confetti Balloons, 5 x Inner Straws, 5 x Decorative Straws, 5 x Holders, 5 x Bows and 5 x Sticky Tacks (to attach bow).

Not only do these balloons look great, they’re easy to assemble. Simply blow to inflate as you would a normal balloon, attach the straw to the holder and insert into the top of the cake. There’s even a bow included to stick to the straw as a cute finishing touch.

We just love these balloons because they’re so versatile. Take a look at some fabulous designs below, posted to Facebook by Peri Bakes. Don’t they look great alongside such a diverse range of cake designs?

There’s also so many ways to incorporate confetti balloons into your design. Insert a single balloon into the top of your cake for a fun finishing touch or add a bunch to create a bigger impact, whether it’s insert them straight into the cake or creating a balloon garland/banner as seen above! They can even been added to the sides of cake tiers as seen above to create a downwards cascading effect. Inflate your balloon slightly, cut down the straw and insert into the sides of your cake. You could also toss the straws to one side and attach using edible glue, depending on the medium you’re using.

To make your cakes and bakes extra personal, you could even add a name, age or short message to the balloon using a marker pen.

Please note, although similar, the images above do not feature our own confetti cake balloons. These cake designs are courtesy of Peri Bakes and are just examples to demonstrate and inspire.

Join in the trend and get stocked up ready for all of your upcoming cake projects.
