As the COVID-19 situation develops, the health and safety of our staff and customers is our priority. We wanted to reassure you that we’re following government guidelines and implementing our own measures.
• We’re doing all we can to safeguard staff and customers.
• There are no changes to our products, offering or services.
If you want to know more about the measures we’re implementing, we’ve detailed them below for you.
Currently there are no issues with supply of products. Products coming from overseas in the future MAY be a little slower but we don’t predict this will be noticeable to you, our customers. We have plenty of stock for everyone. Please continue to order as normal.
There is no evidence that a infection with any type of coronavirus is possible through contact with objects or packages. However, all packaging used to send your orders to you is virgin, meaning it has not been used before. For the time being, we will not be reusing packaging. Unused packaging will be recycled as normal.
Dealing with food products daily, our warehouse staff have always worked in a hygienic way. However, we’ve taken extra measures. An hourly timer reminds staff to wash their hands (choruses of ‘Happy Birthday’ can be heard coming from break rooms!) and they use hand sanitiser every 20 minutes as a minimum.
The majority of our office staff are working remotely from home to save unnecessary travel and safeguard them and their families. This will not affect your experience when shopping with us. You will still receive the same excellent service and support.
No staff or extended family members have currently been affected. Any staff showing symptoms know to self isolate.
The couriers we use to deliver your orders are implementing their own measures. Hand held scanners should be cleaned and sanitised regularly. Some couriers may now NOT offer you the scanner to sign upon delivery. Royal Mail for example now log the name of the person accepting your delivery instead.
We are dispatching orders as normal with no delay. However, international customers MAY experience a delay in delivery if there are travel restrictions in your country. Some areas of the UK are still affected by flooding and this is disrupting delivery. Otherwise, deliveries are happening as normal.
CLICK & COLLECT
Click & Collect is still available from our warehouse in Nottingham. Door handles are cleaned regularly throughout the day and hand sanitiser is available for your use in our reception.
