Baking Heaven is here to keep you warm this winter with a huge range of cakes and treats to make to make the festive season sparkle!
The cake section this winter features such delicacies as the white chocolate teacakes, the classic lemon curd tart and a wonderfully decadent chocolate and peanut butter layer cake.
Martha Swift tells us of her ongoing rise to success with the story or Primrose Bakery – a once small bakery, now has expanded to three different locations. Obviously it’s not all business though as Martha shares with us an absolutely delicious recipe for a gluten free, black forest cake and the utterly indulgent espresso martini cupcakes!
On to biscuits and cookies now and there is something for everyone here with the simple convent cookies and hazelnut cookie to the more complex giant praline sandwich cookie! There is also twists on old classics such as the strawberry and black pepper biscuits for those of you wanting to bring something a little different to the table.
The puddings section this year is perfect for those looking to hone their skills. There is fantastic article on whipping up the perfect merengue so you can get the shape and texture you require, every time. Leading on from this there are numerous ideas for delectable puddings such as the fruity pistachio Pavlova with orange and pomegranate as well as a selection of Crème Brule, tarts and pies.
As well as all this the magazine is packed full of new products, events and interviews to keep you going right up until spring.
