The design was created by renowned cake artist Natasha Collins and features two sheets of vintage flowers in varying sizes that can be cut to suit your cake design.
Natasha Collins of Nevie-Pie Cakes, best known for her amazing cake painting skills, has partnered with Squires Kitchen to create these unique designs that you can use to decorate your own baked creations.
The wafer paper can be used to create delicate cake decorations such as flowers, bows, feathers, confetti and butterflies. You can also use papercraft techniques such as folding, quilling and decoupage to make your own bespoke decorations.
If you wish to make petals and more intricate floral decorations using the wafer paper, try using Fabriliquid to make the paper more flexible and easier to work with.
The wafer paper can be attached to a variety of different mediums including sugarpaste, florist paste and modelling paste by brushing the paste with a little water and then sticking the wafer paper to it. You can also use a small amount of edible glue to help stick your decorations if you wish.
We would not advise sticking the wafer paper directly to chocolate or buttercream as they can occasionally leave marks on the wafer paper. If you wish to attach wafer paper to either of these, we would advise to back the paper with a small layer of sugarpaste before attaching.
Store in a cool dry place away from sunlight.
