CakeFrame is the brand new invention by Dawn Butler. Dawn, more famously known for her Dinkydoodle Designs airbrushing products, has now designed a whole new range of products to combat the issue surrounding what is safe to put inside cakes when making 3D structures or any cake of more than one tier.
CakeFrame was launched in November 2014 and since then CakeFrame has received both awards and global recognition, selling rapidly internationally (patent pending).
CakeFrame is unique in that it is a specifically designed food grade plastic. Each component is cable of being slotted together in any configuration allowing versatility in design. Its simple push fit connectivity also means that it is very easy to assemble, and the fact the no drilling, sawing or gluing are needed means that you will no longer need a trip to the DIY store to design a cake.
Dawn has also thought about your pocket too by making CakeFrame dishwasher safe. All in all, multi-tier cake decorating has never been so affordable, and with CakeFrame parts starting from as little as £3.50, even if you choose to use new parts for each cake you won’t break the bank!
All CakeFrame parts are available separately - from foundation pieces, joints, and curves to square, and round platforms and baseboards. And just like when you plan to make any cake you can choose the joints, rods and board you need for each cake you design.
If you’re new to CakeFrame however, why not try the starter kit? This kit has been put together by Dawn specifically to show you the versatility of CakeFrame. With just a modest selection of parts, Dawn has designed 10 very different cakes, and a full instruction book is included in the pack to help you do the same.
Dawn has also produced other kits too such as the 3 tier wedding cake kit, and more are due for launch in early 2015.
