Coming in two forms - crystals and nibs. Isomalt Crystals are a reduced-calorie sweetener used to make hard candy, edible gems, pulled sugar, blown sugar and is also used as a substitute in baking.

Isomalt Nibs are a pre-cooked, pre-coloured isomalt that is less fragile and easier to work with. All you need to do is pop the nibs into a microwavable bowl and then into the microwave for a few seconds at a time until bubbling. When it has completely melted, you can pour it into any silicone mould or onto a silicone baking sheet to create random patterns. Allow the isomalt to cool before handling it. Isomalt Nibs resist crystallisation and can be re-melted and used again.

Nibs can be used to create a glass or ice effect and are great for when you’re making edible diamonds and gems. You can also colour your Isomalt Nibs using gel or paste food colours to achieve a certain shade that you’re looking for.

Nibs are available pre-coloured in lots of different colours such as ruby red, topaz yellow, sapphire blue, emerald green, pure black, amethyst purple, vibrant pink and bright white. By adding bright white Nibs to any of the other colours you can change the look from clear to opaque. Gold, silver, bronze and shimmering pearl Nibs are also available and create the most stunning edible jewellery when used in brooch and gem silicone moulds.
