This modelling chocolate is great for colouring, painting, modelling flowers and figures, making wrap cakes, using in moulds, covering cakes and more. Even better, it tastes like chocolate!
Unlike some other brands, Chocotastique's modelling chocolate does not go oily as you work with it. This allows you to use it for many different cake decorating techniques.
The modelling chocolate is creamy white in colour. You can change the colour using gel pastes (we recommend Rainbow Dust Pro Gel). Start with small amounts of the gel colour and knead into your modelling chocolate. Add more until the desired colour is achieved. (Be conservative, you can always add more colour but you can't take it away!)
Choctastique chocolate is ideal for modelling as it takes longer to set than sugarpaste, so you have a longer window in which to work with it. It will not crack or break so it is a very forgiving medium, even for beginners!
In a pasta machine, it can be rolled down to a level 4 making it perfect for chocolate wrap cakes.
Got a troublesome mould that you can't get an impression from? Try this sculpting chocolate. During our experiments, we found that even very detailed mould worked with the chocolate and produced crisp and defined pieces that released easily from the mould itself.
How to use:
Remove from the tub and knead the chocolate to soften it up. Roll to your desired thickness or model.
To attached separate pieces together, simply brush the join with a small amount of water.
This chocolate can be painted with food paints, or with melted cocoa butter.
Use the chocolate in your pasta machine to create even and thin sheets, perfect for making chocolate wrap cakes. Knead the chocolate before passing it through your pasta machine for the first time. It can be mixed in a 1:1 ratio with sugarpaste, to create a delicious cake covering. Perfect for those that don't usually like the taste and texture of sugarpaste on their cakes, and would prefer a yummy chocolate flavour.

This is an American product, therefore the expiry date reads mm/dd/yy.
During warm weather, the cocoa butter may separate from the product and create a bloom on the outer product once it returns to room temperature. However, this won't affect the quality of the product. Simply need the bloom back into the product when using.

Next Working Day Delivery (UK)
Any order placed before 4pm (3:30pm for edible images) Monday - Friday, with the Next Working Day Delivery option selected, will be dispatched for delivery the following business day (Monday - Friday), between the hours of 8am - 9pm. A signature is required for this method, so you will need to be at the delivery address to sign for it. Please allow an additional 24 hours for any order to be delivered to the Scottish Highlands. Please also be aware that any deliveries to Northern Ireland with a 'BT' postcode will usually take three days to arrive (on 2 Day Northern Ireland Delivery).
Any order containing a product that is listed as a preorder, will be held until the preordered item has arrived in stock. Orders containing a preorder cannot be split, if other items are needed before the expected delivery date, these items should be ordered separately.
Weekend Deliveries (UK)
Any order placed before 4pm* on Friday, with the "Saturday Delivery" or "Sunday Delivery" option selected, will be dispatched on the same day for delivery between the hours of 8am - 6pm on the selected day. A signature is required for this method, so somebody will need to be at the delivery address to sign for it. If the order is placed after the 4pm cut-off on a Friday, the order will be dispatched for delivery on the following weekend.
