What's the difference between extracts and emulsions?
Extracts tend to use an alcohol solvent - a common base for blending essences as most flavours are easily soluable in alcohol. Emulsions however, avoid the use of solvents like alcohol. Instead, the flavours are blended into a water-based solution.
A flavour emulsion is a microscopic dispersion of tiny flavor droplets in an aqueous medium, usually water. This is made possible by the use of an emulsifying agent, in which case the flavor droplets become encapsulated by the gum. In turn this protects the flavour from thermal abuse when heating and baking products. i.e.:
✔ Flavour emulsions do not 'bake out'
✔ Generally lower cost than extracts
✔ A more 'natural' aroma

Please be aware: although our products do not contain animal products, we do not guarantee that one or more of our ingredients are 100% free of animal origin. Many natural flavour chemicals are found in a variety of sources, and may incur a source that could contain animal (i.e. a fruit flavour may contain a smoothing effect from a component with a dairy or egg origin). Please note that all of the flavours we produce, with the exception of products containing dairy, do not contain animal proteins; however, may subsequently have origins from dairy or eggs.

To safeguard our staff and adhere to social distancing we have less staff currently packing in our warehouse. This means that unless you order for next day delivery, your order may not be dispatched the same day.
Our couriers tell us that they are experiencing very large delivery volumes (akin to Black Friday levels) as everyone is now restricted to shopping online.
This means you should expect around 48 hours added to standard delivery times.
90 - 98% of Next Day deliveries are arriving on time.
Our couriers are all working with reduced resources to safeguard their staff which we totally respect.
In short, please allow a little extra time to receive your order (it'll be worth it, we promise!) We're very thankful to the lovely couriers and our Warehouse Heroes working extra hard to deliver happy mail to us in these unprecedented times.
