Unlike other royal icing mixes that can sometimes be thick or gritty, this Royal Icing Mix only provides the smoothest, most elegant royal icing. Dawn Parrott’s Royal Icing Mix will not only save you time when preparing, ultimately it will give you a higher quality finish than other royal icing mixes currently available.
Dawn Parrott has won several awards for her royal icing creations including the grand prize at the Oklahoma Sugar Art Show and The Cake Master’s Royal Icing Award, as well as being named one of Dessert Professional’s Top Ten Cake Decorators of 2015, so you can rest assured that this Royal Icing Mix will provide an exceptional finish.
You can use this royal icing with stencils or brush embroidery, as well as using it to stick larger decorations to your cake. You could even use it for run-offs and to cover cakes, cookies and other baked treats.
Dawn Parrott’s Royal Icing Mix can also be coloured using gel pastes such as ProGel and Sugarflair.
Instructions:
1. In a grease-free bowl mix 100g of powdered mix with 13ml of water or add as needed to get the consistency you require
2. First mix by hand to combine. Once combined, use your whisk attachment on your mixer and mix on low-medium speed for 2 minutes.
3. Before piping, paddle the mix to remove any air bubbles.
