This CK Products silicone veining mould is great for creating ivy leaves, with realistic looks and textures, making your finished creation stand out from the rest.
Each piece is carefully created, and has the grooves and contours of an ivy leaf, which helps to shape your gumpaste to what you need.
This veiner is a must have for cake decorators and sugar florists, due to it's high level of detail, and how easy it is to work with.
The ivy leaf veiner can be used with a huge variety of materials, such as sugarpaste, fondant, marzipan, gumpaste, modelling chocolate and much more.
Try using this with a ball tool to curl the edges of your finished leaf, and use lustre dusts or petal dusts to colour it. This will give it an aged look, perfect for those autumnal leaves.
For the highest level of detail, try steaming your finished leaf. This will give sugarpaste and fondant a glossy, shiny finish as opposed to a matt finish. Also, it will make your lustre or petal dust set, locking in the colour and giving it a stronger, deeper finish. You can apply steam in a variety of ways, such as a kettle, but the easiest (and safest!) method is to use a cake steamer.
This set contains 8 pieces, that can make four different sized leaves.
Sizes of finished leaves are approx.: 6 cm tall, 5.5 cm tall, 4cm tall, 2.75cm tall.
To safeguard our staff and adhere to social distancing we have less staff currently packing in our warehouse. This means that unless you order for next day delivery, your order may not be dispatched the same day.
Our couriers tell us that they are experiencing very large delivery volumes (akin to Black Friday levels) as everyone is now restricted to shopping online.
This means you should expect around 48 hours added to standard delivery times.
90 - 98% of Next Day deliveries are arriving on time.
Our couriers are all working with reduced resources to safeguard their staff which we totally respect.
In short, please allow a little extra time to receive your order (it'll be worth it, we promise!) We're very thankful to the lovely couriers and our Warehouse Heroes working extra hard to deliver happy mail to us in these unprecedented times.
