Creativa by Margherita Ferrara modelling paste is an everyday essential for modelling, shaping and detailing - perfect for everything from delicate cake toppers to larger decorative pieces! This technical paste is specifically engineered for high-end sculpture and modeling. It has a compact consistency perfect for creating 3D decorations for cakes, cake toppers, cupcakes, cookies, and more.

Please note: we do not recommend microwaving this product - the heat of your hands is more than enough as the paste is naturally very malleable!

1. The Power of Cocoa Butter

The key ingredient is a high concentration of cocoa butter, which grants the paste a dual nature:

Structural Integrity: At room temperature, the paste is firm, ensuring that modeled figures maintain their shape without "sagging" or collapsing.

Thermosensitivity: The warmth of your hands makes the paste extremely malleable, allowing for the creation of even the most minute details.

2. Optimized Drying Times

A common challenge in modeling is paste that dries too quickly (causing cracks) or too slowly (stalling progress). Creativa offers the perfect balance:

It remains elastic long enough to blend seams and refine facial features.

Once the work is complete, it hardens quickly, ensuring the stability of the final creation.

3. The "Silk" Effect

Thanks to its ultra-fine texture, this paste does not suffer from the "elephant skin" effect (unsightly micro-cracks that appear when the paste is bent). The finish is smooth, velvety, and matte, making it ideal for professional photography without distracting reflections.

4. Versatility in Coloring

The pure white base reacts exceptionally well to different types of dyes:

Gel/Paste Colors: They incorporate easily without making the paste sticky. The paste colors in seconds and maintains its structural properties even when adding large amounts of dye for dark tones.

Powder Colors: Due to the cocoa butter content, the surface perfectly grips dry-brushed pigments, allowing for realistic shading and depth on the finished subjects.

5. Ease of Correction

Unlike other modeling pastes, Creativa allows you to "erase" mistakes. If an accidental mark occurs, simply massage the area lightly with the warmth of your finger or a modeling tool to smooth the surface and make the imperfection disappear.

Pro Tip: To get the most out of Creativa, it is recommended to knead it briefly between your hands before use. This "activates" the cocoa butter through warmth, making it soft and ready for sculpting.

Next Working Day Delivery (UK)

Any order placed before 4.30pm Monday - Friday (3:30pm for edible images*), with the Next Working Day Delivery option selected, will be dispatched the same business day (Monday - Friday). Orders placed after the cutoff time using this method will be dispatched on the next working day.

A signature is required for this method, so you will need to be at the delivery address to sign for it. Please allow an additional 24 hours for any order to be delivered to the Scottish Highlands. Please also be aware that any deliveries to Northern Ireland with a 'BT' postcode will usually take three days to arrive (on 2 Day Northern Ireland Delivery).

Pre-Orders

Any order containing a product that is listed as a preorder, will be held until the preordered item has arrived in stock. Orders containing a preorder cannot be split, if other items are needed before the expected delivery date, these items should be ordered separately.

Weekend Deliveries (UK)

Any order placed before 4.30pm* on Friday, with the "Saturday Delivery" or "Sunday Delivery" option selected, will be dispatched on the same day for delivery between the hours of 8am - 6pm on the selected day.

A signature is required for these methods, so somebody will need to be at the delivery address to sign for it. If the order is placed after the 4pm cut-off on a Friday, the order will be dispatched for delivery on the following weekend. Please note we are unable to guarantee any order being dispatched to the Scottish Highlands or Islands to arrive within the quoted time frame.  

*Orders for edible images have a cut-off time of 3:30pm – orders placed after this time will be dispatched for delivery the following week day.
