The modelling paste and colourings are going to be for making your own toppers! If you're in a rush, you can browse our Easter sugar toppers and Easter sprinkles and grab some ready made decorations...

You can watch Vicki bring these cuties to life in our YouTube video...

Step One: Colour your modelling paste

First things first – colour your modelling paste! Keep some white modelling paste aside for the bunny and then create three balls of paste – colour the largest orange, the middle size green and the smallest pink! Start with just a couple of drops and knead in thoroughly. Add more if needed until you reach your ideal shade.

Step Two: Create your carrot shapes

Chop your orange paste into 8 equally sized pieces and gently roll them into the shape of a carrot.

Step Three: Use tools to add detail

Use your decorating tools to perfect that shape and create some detail – this will make your toppers so much more eye-catching!

Use your ball tool to create a little dent in the top to push your leaf into.

Step Four: Make your flower shapes

Using your Daisy cutter (or similar), cut out eight green flower shapes. Again, use your decorating tools to tease these out before adding them to the top of your carrots and pushing the edges up to create the iconic leafy top.

Step Five: Mould your bunny feet and tail

Next, take a ball of white modelling paste, and three smaller pieces – these will form the feet and tail! Mould the largest piece into an oval shape and hold it up against your brownies to make sure you’re happy with the size.

Step Six: Add detail to the feet

Using your ball and dresden tools, create the indentations on the feet and add your pink modelling paste for the ball of the foot and three little toes – this is super cute and sure to be a hit!!

Step Seven: Attach all the pieces

Attach the feet and the tail to the oval to complete the topper! You can use your needle tool to create some texture on the tail.

Step Eight: Bake your brownies!

Now it’s time to bake your brownies! You might have a recipe of your own that you swear by, but if you’re looking for a quick way to whip up a batch, we recommend the FunCakes Fudge Brownie mix. So delicious!

Step Nine: Add your buttercream and crushed biscuit

Allow them to cool and then cover in a layer of chocolate buttercream! Vicki then added a sprinkling of crushed Oreos for an effective layer of “edible soil” – optional but a very cute touch!

Step Ten: Position your toppers

Now you’re ready to add your beautiful toppers for the PERFECT Easter Brownies! Push the carrots into the buttercream a little – that bunny has to dig for them, after all!

Step Eleven: Pop in a gift box

And last but not least, pop your brownies into one of our handy window lid treat boxes to keep them safe and show them off at the same time. It’s the loveliest Easter gift!
