With this mix you easily make a delicious, creamy buttercream yourself. The cream is ideal for filling and covering (fondant) cakes and, thanks to its firmness, also works perfectly for piping cupcake swirls or buttercream flowers.

Just add water and butter to this mix and you get a delicious, creamy buttercream. Buttercream is often used to fill and cover cakes. When you want to cover your cake with fondant, we recommend to first cover it with a thin layer of buttercream.

Prefer a nice naked cake or double barrel covered with buttercream? By covering the cake in two or three phases, and letting it stiffen in the fridge in between, you are assured of a perfectly straight end result. Due to the firmness of the cream, you can also use it to pipe beautiful buttercream flowers or swirls on cupcakes.

Keep your cupcakes in the refrigerator too so that the swirls remain nice and firm. Let them come to room temperature before use for a delicious, soft and creamy result.

This buttercream is easy to colour. Add the food colouring during the last step of the preparation process to make sure the colour is well incorporated throughout.

Prepared FunCakes buttercream can be kept in the refrigerator for a few days, but what few people know is that you can also freeze the cream! This also applies, for example, to buttercream flowers that have already been sprayed.

Next Working Day Delivery (UK)

Any order placed before 4.30pm Monday - Friday (3:30pm for edible images*), with the Next Working Day Delivery option selected, will be dispatched the same business day (Monday - Friday). Orders placed after the cutoff time using this method will be dispatched on the next working day.

A signature is required for this method, so you will need to be at the delivery address to sign for it. Please allow an additional 24 hours for any order to be delivered to the Scottish Highlands. Please also be aware that any deliveries to Northern Ireland with a 'BT' postcode will usually take three days to arrive (on 2 Day Northern Ireland Delivery).

Pre-Orders

Any order containing a product that is listed as a preorder, will be held until the preordered item has arrived in stock. Orders containing a preorder cannot be split, if other items are needed before the expected delivery date, these items should be ordered separately.

Weekend Deliveries (UK)

Any order placed before 4.30pm* on Friday, with the "Saturday Delivery" or "Sunday Delivery" option selected, will be dispatched on the same day for delivery between the hours of 8am - 6pm on the selected day.

A signature is required for these methods, so somebody will need to be at the delivery address to sign for it. If the order is placed after the 4pm cut-off on a Friday, the order will be dispatched for delivery on the following weekend. Please note we are unable to guarantee any order being dispatched to the Scottish Highlands or Islands to arrive within the quoted time frame.  

*Orders for edible images have a cut-off time of 3:30pm – orders placed after this time will be dispatched for delivery the following week day.
