Dream in colour.
From the airbrush machine itself, to the huge range of edible airbrush paints, to revolutionary never-seen-before Wipeouts, Spectrum Flow products continue to amaze and can provide everything you need to get a professional airbrushed finish on your cake designs.
The Spectrum Flow airbrush machine works by drawing air from the compressor unit through the hose and out through the airbrush via a tiny needle which is located inside the airbrush at the end of the hand piece. When you pull back the lever, fine particles of colour are dispersed in the airflow. We all know that sugarpaste and liquid do not go well together, so this airbrush and range of colours have been created with this in mind.
Unlike a lot of brands, Spectrum Flow provide a range of bright, colourful airbrush paints that can also be used on chocolate as well as the usual decorating mediums such as sugarpaste and modelling paste. These ethanol based airbrush paints mean there is no need to try to colour your chocolate, simply create your cakes and spray the colour you want. It also allows you to spray much finer details that you can’t get from simply colouring your chocolate.
There is also a range of water based airbrush colours available and as with all of the Spectrum Flow colour range, paints can be mixed to create your own unique colours. The airbrush paints can be used in all airbrush machines, not just the specific Spectrum Flow airbrush machine and can even be used to hand paint, making them incredibly versatile.
Airbrushing is an easy way to colour cakes quickly and with a little practice, you will find airbrushing to be the most convenient way of getting the professional look and finish to your cakes that you desire.
As well as the airbrush machine and paints, Spectrum Flow also offer a shellac spray for a shiny glaze finish to your cakes.
