And that's what inspired our Summer Bakecation - a project we couldn't be more excited about...
We all remember the best meals we've ever eaten, right? Often those memories will have been from trying something on holiday that is iconic to the region! But the beauty of baking is that you can bring those flavours home and indulge from an opposite corner of the world.

SANTORINI - Lemon Cake by @bake.works
Our first stop? Santorini! Famous for its stunning blue seas and the matching rooftops that sparkle under the Mediterranean sun, we're capturing that fresh, zesty vibe with the bright flavour of lemon.
Our talented friend @bake.works brings Santorini to life in cake form with this stunning Lemon Cake, filled with luscious buttercream and tangy lemon curd. The piped lemon decorations are absolutely adorable, and those delicate dried lemon slices? Chef’s kiss – the perfect finishing touch!

MALLORCA - Summer Fruit Cupcakes by @yoras.cakes
Our second stop? Mallorca! One of Spain’s dreamy Balearic Islands, famous for its golden beaches, lively nightlife, charming villages, and rich history.
And no trip to Spain is complete without a glass of traditional Sangria. The classic combination of summer fruits swirled in wine — and now, swirled into a cupcake! We're bringing that Spanish holiday vibe straight to your kitchen with Sangria-inspired cupcakes!

COSTA DEL SOL - RASPBERRY & PISTACHIO CAKE ROLL by @seeyenbakes

Inspired by the vibrant flavours of Spain, we’ve paired Raspberry, a classic ingredient from Spanish Sangria, with locally grown pistachios to create a unique and irresistible treat.
Our incredibly talented friend, @seeyenbakes, brings this vision to life with a gorgeous cake roll - pistachio flavoured sponge, with raspberry filling, topped with Pistachio buttercream and fresh raspberries. A perfect balance of nutty richness and fruity brightness - this cake is a celebration of Spanish summer in every bite!
DUBROVNIK - BLUEBERRY & LEMON MADELEINES by @bake.works
Welcome to Dubrovnik — one of the Mediterranean’s most iconic destinations! Nestled on Croatia’s southern coast along the sparkling Adriatic Sea, this stunning city is best known for its distinctive Old Town, encircled by centuries-old stone walls and brimming with history. But Dubrovnik isn’t just a feast for the eyes—it’s also full of vibrant summer flavours, like zesty lemons and sweet, juicy blueberries.
On this stop we have a French treat with a Mediterranean makeover! Madeleines are delicate, shell-shaped sponge cakes made with a light génoise batter, perfectly airy and ideal for warm-weather treats. With the creative touch of our talented friend @bake.works, we’ve reimagined them with a Dubrovnik-inspired flavour profile: bursting with lemon and blueberry, dipped in white Candy Melts for a subtle chocolatey finish, and topped with beautiful edible pressed flowers. It’s sunshine in every bite.
PAPHOS - CHERRY PASTRY CREAM COOKIE CUPS by @yoras.cakes
Next stop: Paphos, a city nestled on the southwestern coast of the Mediterranean island of Cyprus. With its scenic harbour and ancient ruins, Paphos offers the perfect blend of stunning Mediterranean views and rich history.
Inspired by the luscious cherries and vibrant flavours found here, our talented friend @yoras.cakes has crafted these beautiful floral cookie cups—filled with silky pastry cream, topped with juicy cherries, and dusted with icing sugar.
These are such a perfect addition to any summer treat table and we've been daydreaming about them ever since the flight opened for boarding...
AMALFI COAST - APEROL SPRITZ INSPIRED ORANGE BUNDT CAKE by @4cake_sake
Off we go to the beautiful Amalfi Coast! This stunning stretch along the southern edge of Italy’s Sorrentine Peninsula is a dreamy blend of seaside villages, winding cliffside roads, terraced vineyards and lemon groves.
